Opening of the Olive Villas affordable housing complex, Long Beach, CA 2008. Dignitaries included Mayor Bob Foster, Congresswoman Laura Richardson, Councilman Dee Andrews, member of the LB Fire Department (who cooked some awesome hot dogs) and the new tenants of the complex. This project, funded by the Long Beach Housing and Redevelopment Department and livablespaces.org, created an eco-friendly, green-technology affordable complex, with tenants crossing all levels of social and economic strata.
